The insulated cover is designed to serve three main purposes: To insulate the water from warmer air temperatures, particularly from hot sunshine To stop debris from entering the water or adjacent service area A natural deterrent to small children and animals who endanger themselves by getting into cold water Your Chill Tub cover has been delivered as a coated item and needs care as it is easily damaged. It will benefit from a monthly rubber bottom, including the underside. All Chill Tub covers are covered by a 1 year warranty.
