The filter has two or three side inlets and one or two skimmers, depending on their filtering ability. The two or three side inlets are directed the first towards the side bottom, the second higher and the third even higher. The filter is always placed at the short deep end of the swimming pool and opposite of the wind. The constant flow of the inlets spins the water, and any dirt found in the water at the bottom or the corners rises to the surface and is absorbed by the skimmers. In this way, the bottom and the surface of the swimming pool are always clean, and there are no blind-spots which are not filtered. The filtering ability of the cartridges is 20micron when the filtering ability of the sand filters is 50micron.
